Dianne Groll, PhD

Dr. Dianne Groll is the Assistant Scientific Director with the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research.

In 2006 Dr. Groll joined Queen’s University as psychiatric epidemiologist and has held a number of faculty appointments including most recently as an Associate Professor with the Department of Psychiatry, with a cross-appointment to the Department of Psychology. In 2011, Dr Groll also took on the role of Research Director for the Department of Psychiatry at Queen’s University.

A Registered Nurse, specializing in psychiatry, she holds a MScH in Epidemiology from Queen’s University and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Toronto. She has been engaged in population health research for over 25 years, focusing on mental health, Operational Stress Injuries, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, in the Canadian Forces, Veterans, and Public Safety Personnel.
