CIMVHR was proud to have representation at the 2026 Women Veterans Forum, held June 9–10 in Ottawa, Ontario, with our Diversity and Human Rights Advisor, Dr. Meaghan Shoemaker, and CIMVHR Founder and 2016 Fellow, Dr. Alice Aiken, participating as panellists.
Hosted by Veterans Affairs Canada in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Women Veterans Council, the Forum brought together serving women, women Veterans and community partners to share experiences and discuss issues impacting women in service and beyond.
The Forum provided an important opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration, helping to advance conversations that support women Veterans and strengthen understanding across the military and Veteran community.
Thank you to the organizers and participants for fostering meaningful conversations focused on collaboration, inclusion and equity.
